Today is a truly momentous day for VoloMetrix. I’m incredibly excited to announce that we are joining Microsoft.

We started VoloMetrix 4.5 years ago with the belief that people are every company’s most valuable asset and the mission to transform knowledge worker productivity through data, transparency and feedback loops. Our goals were to fundamentally change companies’ understanding of how their people drive their outcomes and empower every employee to take back their time and have the very best tools to be successful. Having the opportunity to work with dozens of Global 2000 companies to prove out the science of Organizational Analytics and apply it to help organizations and individuals be happier and more productive at work has been an unbelievable experience.

And, it will only get better from here. Our work with customers makes it clear that there are massive opportunities to improve the experience of going to work as well as drive double-digit improvements in organizational productivity. Microsoft has a huge vision to reinvent productivity and a set of assets in Office 365 that are fundamental to how work gets done. By joining them we will be able to continue to pursue our shared mission and have impact at a staggering global scale.

We believe joining forces with Microsoft will be a huge win for our customers as we provide even better solutions going forward. Over the coming months, you can expect to hear more from us about new capabilities we will be rolling out, new investments in our partner eco-system and more.

On a more personal note, I could not be more proud of my team and all that we’ve accomplished. Together we have helped to pioneer a whole new market; we’ve worked with some of the very largest and best companies in the world; we’ve built incredible relationships with partners; and we’ve pushed the envelope on what can be done with data and technology. It’s been an incredible journey so far and has been a true privilege to get to work with some of the most talented and genuine people I’ve ever encountered.

I also want to say a big thank you to all of our investors, advisors, customers and partners, all of whom made big bets on us – thank you, this could never have happened without your enthusiastic and unwavering support over the years.

Also, thank you to the team at Microsoft for sharing our vision for the future and teaming up with us to make it a reality. We are thrilled to join you and extremely excited about the journey ahead.
